•Responsible for maintaining the company’s books and records as per FERC regulations •Reporting to the Director, Regulatory Accounting & Reporting •Coordinate SAP processing of FERC accounting and trial balance creation •Participate in quarterly and annual FERC reporting •Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements •Conduct accounting research on GAAP •Support regulatory strategies including rate case filings •Interface with internal and external stakeholders •Coordinate tests and reviews for audits •Maintain understanding of FERC Uniform System of Accounting
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required. •Minimum 0-2 years relevant work experience. •Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). •Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships within work group. •Strong written and oral communication skills •Desire to learn, grow and work across FirstEnergy •Ability to demonstrate FE Values and Behaviors. •Experience and proficiency with SAP and FERC uniform system of accounts preferred.
