Description
• Handles all aspects of assigned technical projects • Manages project risks, issues/problems and activity progress • Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed • Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams • Plans and coordinates all aspects of technical projects • Assigns and monitors work of project team providing technical and analytical support
Requirements
• A bachelor’s in computer science, management information systems or business administration or equivalent experience • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required • 7-10+ years experience managing technical projects within Financial Services, ideally within Capital Markets • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, software, processes, procedures and guidelines • Skill in the use of negotiation techniques to reach agreements • Advanced skill in the use of project management software to manage projects
