β’ A Senior Small Business Banking Consultant is responsible for meeting the needs of Small Business clients. β’ This involves both a reactive and proactive team approach, working directly with clients, branch bankers, underwriters, and product specialists through telephone contact. β’ Primary responsibility is to manage and grow Small Business client relationships, including sole proprietors, non-profits, and employer firms. β’ Acts as an expert advisor to the Small Business owner on financial management covering a full range of financial products and services including deposits, loans, credit cards, merchant services, payroll, ACH/Wires, treasury services, insurance, and investments. β’ Performance goals include growth of and retention of client relationships and service excellence.
β’ Undergraduate Degree, required β’ 7+ years of sales/client relationship management experience in banking/financial products, including significant experience with small business clients, required. β’ 7+ years as a Small Business Banker, Business Banking Relationship Manager, or Branch Leader/Manager, preferred. β’ 7+ years phone-based sales experience of banking/financial products or solutions., preferred. β’ Formal credit training and small business banking sales training, preferred. β’ Experience working with less experienced team members to mentor and develop them, sharing expertise and insights.
