Description

• Fleetio is looking for an Engineering Manager with a focus on the Maintenance area of our business. • In this role, you will be one of our leaders for our team that builds features that help our customers manage their fleet maintenance workflows, such as inspections, work orders, and service entries. • You will oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality solutions for our web platform. • You will influence the following areas: engineering leadership, technical strategy, code quality and performance, and mentorship. • You will collaborate closely with fellow engineering leaders, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality releases. • You will develop our engineering talent and grow their careers at Fleetio!

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams as an Engineering Manager or as a Tech Lead • Proven experience building React, Ruby-on-Rails applications (preferred) or similar frameworks • Prior experience building SaaS solutions in an engineering capacity (as an engineer or as a technical lead) • Prior experience engaging and building relationship with external vendors or business partners as necessary in an engineering capacity • Strong track record of leading engineers to deliver roadmap initiatives and achieve outcomes • Strong passion and track record of attracting, developing, and retaining engineers • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Be sure to mention "coffee" in your application, so we know you read this
