Description

• The Field Service Engineering Specialist services, troubleshoots, and commissions customer network installations. • Supports electric actuation activities for all digital products interacting with third-party control systems. • Combines technical knowledge with relationship skills to execute global strategies aimed at increasing profitability. • Utilizes FLS diagnostics capability in trouble shooting, analysis, and compatibility issues. • Trains end users and FLS support personnel in network troubleshooting and commissioning.

Requirements

• MS or BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Chemical or other related engineering field, or 5+ years in Industrial Networks in lieu of degree. • 5 to 10 years as a technical problem solver with experience in systems and networks (DCS, SIS, AMS) including the integration of actuation, valves, and instruments. • Proven industrial digital communication experience with a history of device commissioning. • Must be fluent in English communication; verbal, reading, and writing. • Strong understanding of fluid flow in process control environments and ability to explain digital and mechanical concepts. • Comprehensive working knowledge of Instrumentation and process control elements in a flow loop. • Comprehensive working knowledge of digital communications protocols: HART, FF, Modbus, and others. • Comprehensive working knowledge about the main DCS and Asset Management Systems (Emerson, Yokogawa, Honeywell). • Knowledgeable in removing, installing, and starting up digital products including software installations.
