Description

• Job Title: IT Technical Engineer • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Plus vehicle allowance or van) • Location: Home based with travel across London / Berkshire areas • Established in 2003, Focus Group is proud to be one of the UK’s fastest growing independent providers of essential business technology, providing digital workplace solutions to nearly 35,000 customers across the UK. • From our small but ambitious beginnings, we have grown into a nationwide company with over 1100 employees across 16 offices and have recently joined the ranks of Britain’s private company ‘unicorns’ after securing a new $1bn valuation. • We are now recruiting for an IT Technical Engineer. • As part of this team, you will provide remote & onsite support and installations for customers ranging for SME to enterprise. • This will include troubleshooting, configuration, and installation of solutions for customers in a variety of sectors. • Principal Responsibilities/Duties

Requirements

• Prior experience in an IT or Telecom Support or Delivery role. • Be able to work efficiently by themselves and as part of a team. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent attention to detail. • Ability to be flexible as you may be required to adjust working hours or stayover on some larger project work. • For field roles, you must have a full valid UK driving license. • Excellent troubleshooting skills. • Experience with the Microsoft technology stack including Windows Desktop, Windows Server, M365.
