Description
• Forage is a mission-driven payments company that helps merchants accept government benefits. • We function as a hybrid organization, actively hiring across North America. • Searching for a seasoned Security Engineer to mold the ongoing security culture of Forage. • Collaborate with product engineering teams to design secure solutions and ensure compliance with industry security standards.
Requirements
• Exhibit a strong understanding of CS fundamentals from your Bachelor's in CS, engineering, related discipline, or equivalent industry experience • Multiple years of experience in security in industry • Solid grasp of SOC2 and PCI requirements • Strong communication skills to help advocate for security needs while balancing business impact • Practical knowledge across application architecture and infrastructure security • Demonstrated experience securing applications in a cloud environment • Ability to operate independently and proactively find and surface issues to the wider engineering team • Nice to have: A knowledge of payments space and security best practices surrounding payments processing
