Description

• At Ford Pro, a global business within Ford committed to commercial customer productivity, we are seeking a DevSecOps Software Engineer to be a driving force in defining and advancing our platform and industry technology landscape. • This technical leader will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of the company, driving process improvements, and solidifying enterprise architecture as technology evolves. • The DevSecOps Software Engineer will have a pivotal influence on company-wide technology decisions and initiatives. • The role is focused on leading technical strategy and contributing to the broader technological advancements of Ford Pro, ensuring a substantial impact on both platform development and the advancement of technology across the organization through hands on delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or a combination of education and experience • 3+ years of experience with DevSecOps tools and processes, including Tekton, FOSSA, 42 Crunch, SonarQube, GitHub, and Backstage. • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices. • Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Passion for learning and willingness to work in a pair programming environment. • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. • Familiarity with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices, including Pair/Mob programming and TDD. • Experience with Spring/SpringBoot and RESTful web services development.
