📋 Description

• We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sr Director, Edge Platform & DevOps to lead and drive transformational initiatives in our Data Center and Edge infrastructure, DevOps, and developer experience. • The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of industry experience, with extensive hands-on expertise in managing RedHat OSV/CaaS infrastructure and migrating from VMware to Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization (OSV) and CAAS (Containers-as-a-Service) infrastructure. • This role requires a deep understanding of modern development pipelines, CI/CD, and automation to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

🎯 Requirements

• 20+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and related domains, with a strong background in manufacturing plant environments. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field. • Extensive hands-on expertise in migration from VMware to Red Hat OSV and CAAS infrastructure. • Deep understanding of developer experience, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps toolchains. • Strong expertise in database technologies, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, with experience in: Database migration and modernization from legacy systems to cloud-native environments. • High availability and disaster recovery strategies for PostgreSQL and MongoDB. • Performance tuning and optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency. • Database security and compliance, including encryption, access controls, and audit logging. • Automation and orchestration of database deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools. • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift, Containers, and Cloud-Native architectures. • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.). • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies. • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to drive large-scale transformation projects in complex enterprise environments. • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift or Kubernetes Administration. • AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Certifications. • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). • ITIL, TOGAF, or other relevant certifications.
