📋 Description

• At Fortis Games we aspire to make great games that bring people together while redefining how game companies work. • As a QA Engineering Manager at Fortis, you’ll oversee our Automation Engineers focused on developing efficiency solutions for our Test and Development team across our games portfolio. • You’ll partner with product leaders across QA, Engineering, and Production to ensure our team delivers to expectation, both time and quality. • As part of QA leadership, you’ll help define our long-term direction and strategy of Test Automation including advancements in areas around Data Analysis and AI. • Team Management: Overseeing multiple initiatives you’ll oversee our team’s strategy of approach and overall success. • Resource Allocation: You’re ensuring we always have the right talents where we need them while providing opportunities for your team’s growth. • Stakeholder Communication: You’re constantly collaborating with QA and Development leaders ensuring your team is always focused on the highest values. • Process Improvement: Leveraging processes, data, and feedback; You continually look for opportunities to increase the overall capabilities of the team. • Team health: Culture is important to us, and you set the tone while ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering team. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performance team. • Experience developing using Agile methodologies • Experience with programming languages such, as C# or Python. • Prior experience developing test frameworks supporting Client automation. • Knowledge of Unity and Unity tooling specifically for game development. • Knowledge of AWS cloud services • Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc. • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams, identifying project requirements, and ensuring successful delivery.
