Description

• Please be aware that for this position, the candidate is required to be located in Brazil. • The Engineering team is vital to the success of our current and emerging software developments. • As part of this team, you will be able to deliver enhancements and customizations on new and existing products to make an impact on the business and our customers. • The Software Engineer II is responsible for coding, testing, and implementing solutions for Accruent’s healthcare applications. • You will be critical in developing robust and scalable web applications using React.js and related technologies. • Your primary focus will be designing and implementing user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring our applications' high performance and responsiveness. • Design and implement reusable and efficient components and front-end architectures. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects and performance issues. • Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to React.js and web development. • Collaborate with the QA team to perform code reviews and ensure high code quality and software reliability. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• Fluent/Advanced English skills. • Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). • Have experience as a professional software development. • Solid understanding and experience with Test Driven Development • Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on modern design patterns • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies. • Experience with .NET Framework 3.5 and the latest MS Visual Studio tools. • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Redux, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus. • Experience with RDBMS products like Oracle or SQL Server. • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in a timely manner. • Excellent communication in English and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket). • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Scrum) is preferred.
