Description

• Lead Global Tax function for Fortrea, a global contract research organization • Provide US and international tax planning and strategic tax leadership • Analyze complex tax issues, develop tax planning strategies, and collaborate across functions • Oversee U.S. and international tax provision process and compliance functions •Research and implement tax strategies, evaluate global tax laws and principles • Manage relationships with tax authorities and compliance providers • Hire, coach, and develop global tax department staff

Requirements

• Master of Science or Master of Business Administration with concentration in Taxation, and CPA required • Extensive experience in U.S. and/or international income tax experience required • Previous experience leading a US Headquartered public company’s tax department and/or significant public company experience in corporate tax environment • Previous leadership experience – proven experience leading and building high-performing teams • Experience working with services tax vs. product tax • Extensive U.S. Federal, State & International income tax, and transaction tax knowledge • Extensive experience in identifying, analyzing, and communicating complex tax issues and their impact on the company to key stakeholders, and executive leaders • Strong analytical skills • Superb written and verbal communication skills • Track record as a trusted advisor and business partner - driving business insights, actions, and accountability, with a customer service-oriented attitude • Experience with an outsourced tax model
