Description

• Lead the development and optimisation of Luupli’s backend services. • Define the technical vision, architect scalable solutions, and ensure the backend infrastructure meets the evolving needs of our platform and users. • This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, strategic foresight, and a passion for delivering world-class backend systems.

Requirements

• Must-Have: 8+ years of experience in backend development, including 3+ years in a leadership role. • Expertise in C# .NET Core and microservice architecture. • Strong experience with AWS EKS and containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes). • Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka). • Deep understanding of API design and best practices (REST, gRPC). • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), and logging systems (e.g., ELK stack). • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills. • Preferred: Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and CQRS/ES patterns. • Familiarity with caching strategies, data partitioning, and performance tuning for large-scale systems. • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and implementing security at scale. • Background in scaling backend systems to support millions of users. • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).
