📋 Description

• We are looking to employ a Development and HR Manager with outstanding analytical and communication skills. • To ensure success, they should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, volunteer relationships, staffing management and training. • Top candidates will be comfortable managing grey areas, effective at scheduling and methodical in the recruitment process. • Oversee and develop recruitment, induction, and training for Team FOSIS by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks and issuing employment contracts and volunteer agreements. • Shall oversee and develop recruitment, induction, and training for the National Executive Committee, including scheduling interviews and assisting in the interview process where required. • Processing payroll which includes ensuring annual leave and sick days are tracked. • Manage the organisation’s employee database and prepare reports. • Shall aim to strengthen and support the internal development of the organisation. • Maintaining HR Policies and processes and ensuring they are all up to date and embedded within the organisation. • Shall update the FOSIS Handbook and Volunteer annual. • Shall be responsible for implementing necessary procedures and systems to deal with complaints and disciplinary action. • Facilitating Training opportunities, resources and programs that would enhance the development and wellbeing of Team FOSIS. • Shall promote and coordinate personal development programmes. • Working closely with the NEC and FOSIS President, as well as the Head of Operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge and interest in developing the Muslim student scene and the advancement of the British Muslim community. • Awareness and commitment to FOSIS’s aims, objectives and Islamic ethics and principles. • Educated to degree level or equivalent. • Previous operational or management experience. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a diverse audience, and excellent conflict resolution. • Basic copywriting experience for platforms including FOSIS’s recruitment platform. • IT proficient with moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and Google Suite. • Understanding of data protection regulations and excellent ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. • Ability to work with minimum supervision, work comfortably under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
