Description

• Lead continual improvement in the availability, performance, functionality, and security of the Fountain services and platforms. • Reduce lead time for infrastructure delivery and changes in the Cloud. • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and Apache Airflow. • Work closely with data sources such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch. • Collaborate with various teams to establish standard operating procedures and best practices. • Diagnose and troubleshoot in-app and infrastructure-related issues. • Provide support for IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution. • Offer Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution, and engage in blameless RCA. • Integrate new technologies into both new and existing systems. • Lead the architectural strategy, rollout, and optimization of IaaS-hosted workloads and products in cloud environments. • Build robust in-app and infrastructure monitoring and alerting platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related scientific field plus 8 years of experience in DevOps/SRE and platform engineering. • 4 years of experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure issues. • 4 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or other public cloud. • 4 years of experience with Terraform, and Terraform Cloud. • 4 years of experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Linux operating systems. • 4 years of experience with Datadog, Cloudwatch, NewRelic, Splunk, or Dynatrace. • 4 years of hands-on experience in designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. • 4 years of experience operating, administering, and scaling relational and non-relational databases. • Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. • Must successfully complete competency-based interview.
