Freedx continues to expand and is looking for a Quantitative Developer – Margin/Futures Trading to join a growing and dynamic team. • Freedx is a newly established cryptocurrency exchange dedicated to providing a seamless, secure, and innovative trading experience. • Our team comprises experienced professionals from the crypto, finance, and technology sectors, all passionate about driving the future of digital finance. • At Freedx, we are committed to creating a platform that empowers our clients with the freedom to manage their digital assets confidently and efficiently. • Freedx is looking for an experienced Quantitative Developer with a strong background in algorithmic development and expertise in Python to drive the evolution of our margin and futures trading systems. • This role will be integral to our trading operations, focusing on developing and optimizing trading algorithms, liquidation engines, and risk management frameworks. • The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience working at a cryptocurrency exchange, with a deep understanding of margin and futures trading. • Key Responsibilities • Algorithm Development: Design, build, and refine trading algorithms, liquidation engines, and risk management models for margin and futures trading. • Trading System Support: Develop and support both back-end and front-end trading applications, ensuring smooth operations and rapid issue resolution. • Strategy Implementation: Collaborate closely with traders to implement and optimize strategies that align with Freedx's market objectives. • Technology and Innovation: Work on both greenfield projects and enhancements to our existing trading infrastructure, driving forward high-quality, scalable solutions.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience • Programming: Expert-level Python skills, with experience developing high-performance trading systems. C++ knowledge is a plus. • Trading Experience: Proven experience building trading algorithms, risk engines, and liquidation algorithms, specifically in margin or futures trading contexts. • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience working on the technology side of a cryptocurrency exchange or within a similar fast-paced trading environment. • Systems Expertise: Comfortable working with Linux and managing applications in a live trading setting. • Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with traders, quants, and other developers. Preferred Attributes • Adaptable Mindset: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Passion for Crypto: Enthusiastic about cryptocurrency markets and trading innovation. • DevOps Knowledge: Experience with DevOps practices is beneficial for managing and scaling trading applications.
