Description
• As an Animal Welfare Auditor, ensure adherence to animal welfare standards. • Conduct thorough audits of facilities, suppliers, and partners. • Develop cross species skills and knowledge of animal welfare sectors. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to established protocols. • Communicate effectively with clients and complete audit procedures.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree and education related to animal production and welfare is preferred. • Minimum two years’ experience and/or training in Animal production or welfare (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered). • Hold active PAACO certifications (poultry or swine) or working to obtain. • Animal welfare or animal husbandry exposure required. • Computer proficiency required. • Possess working knowledge of livestock handling tools. • Ability to travel 60-80% to on site audits.
