📋 Description

• The role involves helping the market understand FSC’s EUDR solutions, thereby facilitating companies' compliance with the EU Deforestation-free Regulation (EUDR). • Serve as the primary point of contact and technical expert for EUDR policy and FSC solutions. • Develop and lead the implementation of the EUDR conformity and support strategy for FSC-APAC. • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to localize and roll out regional EUDR toolkit materials. • Engage with key stakeholders to improve the implementation of FSC sustainable forestry tools. • Conduct capacity-building initiatives such as webinars and training sessions to enhance market uptake of FSC solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in international policy, sustainability, and forestry or an equivalent combination of education/vocational training and work experience relevant for the roles and responsibilities of this function. • Continuous professional development in one or more of the following areas: forest certification including Chain-of-Custody, ESG, supply chain management, 3rd party voluntary certification scheme, environmental NGOs. • 5-8 years of professional experience in supply chain management and market development. • Sound understanding of FSC’s programs, activities, policies, and standards. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Service-oriented attitude, with proven ability to plan and organize work. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, global team. • Fluency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
