📋 Description

Reporting to the Director of Tax, you'll own and oversee the Indirect Tax function for Fullscript. Leading a small but mighty team, you'll enhance and optimize our tax related processes to ensure the utmost accuracy as we build for the future.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA, CA, or Master’s in Taxation preferred. • 5+ years of relevant state and local tax experience, ideally within a public accounting firm or a corporate tax department. • Demonstrated expertise in sales and use tax compliance and audits. • Experience managing annual state filing processes for multiple jurisdictions. • Strong knowledge of US state and local tax regulations; familiarity with Canadian tax rules is a plus. • Proficiency with tax compliance software (e.g., Vertex, Avalara, OneSource) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). • Prior experience within an online marketplace/eCommerce environment. • Familiarity with Netsuite and strong MS Excel or Gsheet skills. • Demonstrated success in building and improving processes. • You’re extremely organized. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; including, the ability to explain highly complex subject matter in simple terms.
