📋 Description
• Conduct market analysis and produce comprehensive product/service requirements and detailed specifications for existing and new financial functionality, interfaces, and reports. • Analyze clients’ investment accounting processes and systems, transform this analysis into system-wide configuration instructions. • Solicit and document client business requirements, provide consultative support regarding applications and business processes. • Provide hands-on product support and training to clients and FundCount internal teams. • Conduct necessary research, prepare business/functional requirements, and review functional designs and product documentation articles. • Work with technical and development staff to conduct user-acceptance testing. • Develop data mapping specifications for existing and new data import and export interfaces.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in science, mathematics, accounting, or finance. • 2+ years of relevant experience in fund administration, family offices, or investment accounting & technology. • Experience with research, requirements capture, and business analysis on IT projects for complex financial applications in the alternative fund industry. • Strong knowledge of a broad range of investment management products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds, is highly desirable. • Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with Jira or similar task/issue management systems. • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. • Willingness to travel within the region to conduct client training approximately 20% of the time.
