Description

• We're looking for a Legal and Data Compliance Lead excited by the prospect of joining our growing team and help us in our mission to beneficially transform the small business lending market. • We're looking for someone with knowledge of contracting and procurement processes with large organisations, as well as an understanding and experience of risk and compliance with a focus on data protection compliance. • They will take responsibility for ensuring compliance with applicable obligations as we meet our commercial ambitions to grow our presence in our top tier banking clients. • This role will give you an exciting opportunity to work with talented people, in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment, while also giving you variety, scope and the ability to make an impact at scale at FXE. • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements. • Managing and mitigating legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures. • Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business with a special focus on Data Protection by being the Data Protection Lead at FXE. • Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company. • Communicating with and managing any third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors. • Tracking, monitoring and reporting key risks. • Lead on other risk and compliance projects as needs arise e.g. review of our policies

Requirements

• Experience leading on all aspects of legal contracting processes. • Experience of contractual negotiations for software MSAs with large entities especially desirable • Experience navigating procurement processes for large contracts with large organisations • Strong knowledge of industry compliance requirements and standards, with a high level of understanding of relevant Data Protection requirements. • Relevant experience working in a regulated business or a business with strong control frameworks is a plus • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same • You will be hands-on and a self-starter
