• THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE AND CANDIDATES MAY BE LOCATED ANYWHERE IN THE US EASTERN TIME ZONE. • We are a dynamic and growing consulting business seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. • This role is integral to our financial operations, encompassing both standard financial reporting and planning as well as specialized responsibilities unique to our business model. • The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. • This role will ensure the accuracy of financial records, provide strategic financial insights, and support the executive team with financial planning and analysis. • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • In this role, you will be responsible for FTI’s overall financial health and management. • Develop all company financial plans. • Manage cash flow and company P&L. • Collaborate with partners on contract vendor management. • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Complete year-end close for review, audit, and tax purposes. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations. • Track and analyze weekly and monthly expenses.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university • CPA or CMA certification preferred • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Experience with expense tracking and cost reconciliation in a project-based environment. • Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations. • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience in the consulting industry. • Familiarity with integrating and optimizing business systems and processes. • Proven track record of process improvement and efficiency.
