Description

• Own full P&L responsibility for the audiobooks business unit • Develop and execute strategic plan to scale from current state to $20M+ in revenue • Build, Lead and manage cross functional teams across product, engineering, sales, and operations • Create and maintain relationships with key publishing partners and industry stakeholders • Define and monitor key performance metrics for the business unit • Manage budget and resource allocation across the business unit • Develop pricing models and packaging strategies for audiobook production services • Build and manage e-commerce and self-service capabilities for streamlined customer acquisition • Create scalable sales and partner enablement initiatives • Define marketing strategy to drive awareness and adoption • Establish strategic partnerships with key players in publishing ecosystem • Direct product strategy and roadmap for AI voice technology in audiobook production • Work closely with engineering team to ensure voice quality meets publishing industry standards • Define quality metrics and continuous improvement processes for AI voice production • Stay ahead of voice AI technology developments and competitive landscape • Partner with technical teams to continually improve voice quality and optimize production efficiency • Build efficient production processes and workflows for audiobook creation • Establish quality control and customer success frameworks • Manage capacity planning and resource allocation to meet demand • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality audiobook products • Build scalable operational infrastructure to support growth

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in relevant technology or publishing industry roles • Proven track record of building and scaling new business units • In-depth understanding of voice AI technology and its applications • Experience managing P&L and building business cases • Strong product management expertise • Excellent communication and relationship building skills • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams • Bachelor's degree in relevant field • Experience in publishing, audiobook production, or related industries • MBA or relevant advanced degree • Prior leadership experience in startups or new business unit • Established relationships and network in publishing industry
