• Seeking a highly skilled UX/UI Design Subject Matter Expert (SME) • The UX/UI Design SME must be technically proficient with front-end and back-end technologies. • Responsible for developing and maintaining innovative UX/UI solutions for clients. • Identify and validate problems and opportunities through research and ideation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions. • Conduct detailed user research to understand user needs and preferences. • Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups. • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback for improvement. • Evaluate and optimize design solutions for cost-effectiveness, performance, and reliability. • Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback. • Stay up-to-date with trends and technologies in defense and space industries.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining a DHS Public Trust Clearance • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise. • Expert knowledge of user-centered design, agile/iterative design and emerging design trends, user research methodologies and ability to translate research findings into actionable design recommendations. • Proficient with design, research, communication, and project management tools such as Figma, FigJam, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or InVision, and emerging design tools. • Deep understanding of UX principles and best practices, as well as the ability to apply them to different platforms and devices. • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and champion design ideas to cross-functional teams. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate complex design challenges and a track record of delivering innovation solutions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams. • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation and specifications. • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.
