β’ The Application Administrator will be responsible for managing the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on collecting Hardware Asset Management requirements, implementing and configuring the ServiceNow Enterprise platform, and providing day-to-day monitoring and user support within the VA environment. β’ Work closely with the stakeholders and ServiceNow team to improve asset management processes to track hardware assets. β’ Track the onboarding process and provide status updates. β’ Develop and implement asset management plans according to the Implementation Plan. β’ Perform regular asset audits, asset analysis, and inventory checks. β’ Updating and maintaining asset databases. β’ Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards. β’ Coordinate with different departments to understand asset needs and software requirements. β’ Analyze asset lifecycle and recommend improvements within the HAM and SAM instance
β’ AA or 2-year technical school in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Graduate of Technical School, or equivalent (4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education) β’ 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration, including implementation, configuration, and support. β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with sharp attention to detail. β’ Good communication and interpersonal skills. β’ Oral and written technical and non-technical to a variety of audiences β’ Present information and ideas so others will understand β’ Ability to respond clearly to questions. β’ Familiarity with ServiceNow administration and implementation across various ITSM modules especially HAM Pro & SAM Pro. β’ Hands-on experience with platform monitoring, troubleshooting, and system upgrades. β’ Ability to follow policies and procedures β’ Aptitude to address sensitive situations and positively resolve them. β’ Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance. β’ Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
