• As the Design Content Visionary Manager (Technical Education Manager), collaboration with the larger Building Science Team will be essential to drive thought leadership, and develop innovative ways to engage the design community through interactive storytelling. • Promote technical literacy within the design community. • Provide concierge service to architects and specifiers and influence specs. • Build trust and become the “go to” resource. • Support our sales team via upstream customer engagement. • Develop new content to enhance storytelling through visual and written content development, work with Building Design Managers to fulfill content needs, present content through various mediums, and assist with content development for industry events. • Update and improve existing content, enhance engagement using unique approaches to interactive learning, and revive past research efforts. • Enhance communication of educational content through campaign management, newsletter development, social media content creation, and video series development. • Participate in larger commercial initiatives as requested.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Graphic Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree and minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience. • 7+ years of graphic design, architectural design OR building enclosure experience • Content Creation & Development Skills • Travel Requirements: 10-15% travel for company meetings and national industry events. • Valid driver’s license is required. • Proficient in Google Business Suites or Microsoft Business Suite. • Technical and professional knowledge of the roofing industry, preferred. • Industry certifications such as AIA, CDT, LEED AP, PE, RRO, RRC are highly preferred. • Experience with SalesForce is preferred. • Strong Public Speaking and Content Development skills - able to present well to large groups and foster engaging conversations through open-ended questions. • Knowledge of roof systems and their interaction with the building enclosure. • Working knowledge of building science. • Instructional Design, Sketch-up / CAD abilities. • Graphic design skills and video editing skills are a plus. • Social media management is a bonus. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Must be highly motivated, energetic, and persuasive. • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
