📋 Description
• Gartner is seeking a skilled and experienced Director, Analyst to provide thought leadership and actionable advice in the evolving area of Cloud Migration and Edge Cloud. • This role demands a deep understanding of cloud computing, strategy, and the implications of edge computing within hybrid cloud environments. • The Director will create compelling research, engage with clients, and contribute to Gartner's reputation as a leading research and advisory company.
🎯 Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud computing and strategy. • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). • Experience in Guiding cloud transformation in the context of a cloud migration and assessing cloud risks • Experience in driving cloud governance and understanding of cloud technical architecture, with hands-on engineering experience • Experience in building and delivering a modern operations function (cloud platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or similar model) • Experience working in agile, DevOps environments. • Strong knowledge of cloud services, including edge-to-cloud solutions and implications of edge computing within hybrid cloud environments. • Familiarity with the edge cloud strategies of major cloud providers. • Experience in cloud security, pricing, networking and deployment models. • Experience in designing and overseeing the implementation of cloud operating models. • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions. • Ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others in a multicultural global team. • Strong organizational skills: ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
