Description
• Track U.S. and global market trends and emerging technologies • Write evidence-based content that is defensible and actionable • Deliver high-quality advice to executives • Create presentations for webinars and client events • Build credibility as a defense market expert • Provide sales and service support to grow Gartner business • Participate in research community discussions • Identify research process improvements • Mentor and coach junior team members
Requirements
• 12+ years of relevant IT and/or program executive leadership for or with US Federal government • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred • Informed understanding of strategic and operational challenges in defense • Experience in defense operating in joint/combined service organizations • Extensive experience leading strategy/implementation in relevant areas like digital engineering, AI, IT operations • Executive presence to establish credibility with executives • Strong organizational skills; ability to produce high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines • Excellence in research and writing ability • Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts concisely • Comfort presenting at large/small-scale speaking engagements • Strong business and financial acumen • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
