• Create innovative, thought-provoking content. • Develop new research and ideas through thought leadership. • Develop in-depth analysis to identify the root cause of client needs. • Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing research positions. • Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts. • Provide clients with actionable advice via virtual or face-to-face interactions. • Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for various events. • Provide sales support and help research teams create content. • Actively participate in innovation and research discussions. • Identify research process improvements for excellent service delivery. • Be a mentor and coach for junior team members.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Prior experience working with PLM and related topics in manufacturing industry. • Experience with BOM management and how different types of BOMs interplay. • Must know and have worked on at least two PLM systems or a combination of PLM and other systems. • Subject matter expertise in PLM-related topics is a plus. • Process and functional experience across product development and manufacturing value chain. • Strong organizational skills and ability to produce high-quality deliverables. • Demonstrated research and writing ability. • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills. • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative member in a global team environment. • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology at all levels. • 5-10% willingness and ability to travel to team/client events.
