• Looking for a mid-level Copywriter & Editor to create engaging content for GVI's marketing, communications and outreach. • Write clear, engaging and concise copy that communicates complex ideas to our audiences and partners. • Engage closely with a diverse team of marketing professionals on high-quality campaigns and projects. • Ensure final copy is free from errors and aligned with style, tone, and voice. • Content ranges from public health in Nepal to marine surveys in Spain. • Craft tight, creative, and high-quality content that resonates with Gen Z and Millennials interested in travel, conservation, and volunteering. • Produce content with a clear, compelling call to action.

Requirements

• 3-6 years in a copywriting role with editing experience, ideally including agency and paid media. • Experience writing copy for a variety of platforms including newsletters, paid search, paid social, websites, social media, and SEO. • A portfolio demonstrating ability to create engaging copy across a variety of channels. • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, able to communicate complex ideas effectively and compel readers to take action, through short form copy including subject lines, titles, headings, paid media, descriptions and more. • Visual communication skills and experience to create visual emails and paid social briefs without input from designers. • An adaptable mindset, with enthusiasm to respond swiftly and effectively to changing trends and AI in the digital marketing landscape. • Organised and proactive, with an efficient approach to tasks and responsibilities. • Eager to grow and expand their knowledge and skills. • A clear and open communicator who can offer constructive challenges and support, maintaining a straightforward and positive attitude. • Willing to step outside their role to support the team when necessary, especially in high-pressure situations.
