• Responsible for mentoring Product Service team and providing direct technical support to global GE Vernova (GEV) customers for 3 main workstreams: • Resolving or mentoring team through customer technical inquiries via engineering response (ER) cases. • Leading or engaging in complex controls and accessory & plant equipment root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for high business impact issues, often with cross-functional teams. • Communicating GEV technical guidance to customers or site representatives via user conferences, customer webinars, and technical documents; additionally, communicating technical details and business risks to GEV internal stakeholders. • Own the technical resolution to multiple complex controls hardware (Mark VI, Mark VIe, ALSPA), network, and HMI issues at power plants with a sense of urgency. • Identify trending issues and provide countermeasures to protect our customers’ fleet, then communicate to the relevant audience (TILs, PSxBs, ETCs, OnTheGo alerts, etc.). • Collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Management, Regional Customer Engineering Centers, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Vendors, and/or Customers to provide sound technical resolution in a timely manner. • Drive complex RCAs through root cause and corrective action while communicating both internally (field teams, GEV leadership) and externally to end customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Instrumentation Engineering • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience with GE/Alstom accessory and/or plant systems.
