• Provide financial and technical leadership for the Gas Power Asia Risk Management team in the development of risk management strategies and proposals for new and existing service contracts • Provide financial & technical expertise in the development of an overall risk management strategy for Gas Power Asia • Work to identify key opportunities for the application of risk assessment tools • Prepare/support annual target setting exercise (SII, Op Plan, LRF) and operating reviews for CSA related metrics (ie CSA Core, Upgrades, Cum Catch, O&M, billing, cash, commits) • Prepare and partner global CSA FP&A team and region finance team for CSA financial pacing/forecasting and post quarter close reporting along with improving visibility in the quarterly productivity actions and pacing efforts • Develop financial & technical modeling processes for CS products to better support both commercial and operating teams and ensure business objectives are met in the proposal/execution process • Partner with commercial, controllership, tax, legal, treasury to ensure stat/tax compliant deal structuring that balances risk and rewards. Focus includes minimizing deferred balance, improve cash flow position and termination protection for CSA deals (ie New Unit CSA, IB Capture, Renegotiation, Upgrade) • Manage the simplification/lean initiatives and actions to simplify the Finance and processes • Help recruit, mentor and develop finance talent
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or Business Management • Minimum 8 years of finance experience • Broad experience in Asia and with broad exposure of industry and market dynamics in the region • Knowledge of GE Gas Power business including performance metrics, planning cycles, Operating rhythms, industries, products, customer base, and contract structures • FMP / Corporate Audit Staff graduate (GE Employees only) • Understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS
