• Responsible for Plant I&C Systems design activities that support GE's BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR) and/or Gen-IV reactor technologies including Natrium and ARC sodium fast reactors (SFRs). • Lead I&C System design and development from conceptual through preliminary and detailed design, fabrication, assembly, production test, validation test, and site installation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics from an accredited university or college. • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial Instrumentation and control such as nuclear, power, process, marine, oil & gas, military, aerospace, medical, or pharmaceutical. • Minimum 3 years of experience with application, requisition, or field engineering in a combination of mid-tier programmable logic controllers (PLC) or top-tier DCS used in complex, instrumentation, data acquisition, control, monitoring, or automation. • Minimum 1 years of experience in safety critical applications or regulated industry. • Effective communication, cross-discipline and functional facilitation, and influencing skills, both verbal and written. • Clear thinker, detail oriented, insightful, quantitative, results oriented.
