β€’ GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy is seeking a Lead Engineer in Chemical Engineering. β€’ Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nuclear energy. β€’ Lead design, development, and implementation of chemical addition systems for BWRX-300 reactor. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry experts. β€’ Troubleshoot complex systems and support the operational success of technology. β€’ Support projects from laboratory testing to in-plant implementation. β€’ Passion for problem-solving and hands-on design in clean energy.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. β€’ Minimum of 7 years engineering experience. β€’ Minimum of 5 years BWR Nuclear Plant experience. β€’ Experience in Nuclear Industry. β€’ Certificate of Authorization issued by Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO). β€’ Experience with engineering design documents and drawings. β€’ Hands on experience (design, construction, and/or mechanical maintenance) working with custom mechanical systems. β€’ Experience with design and execution of small-scale testing and mock-ups of mechanical systems. β€’ Familiarity with BWR plant systems and/or chemistry issues. β€’ Programming skills/experience (PLC, Labview, general computer logic/communication). β€’ Excellent troubleshooting skills. β€’ Demonstrated high energy and the ability to energize others. β€’ Demonstrated legacy of high integrity and positive representation. β€’ Legacy of delivering on commitments; tenacious, with a proven track record of overcoming obstacles; ability to achieve stretch targets. β€’ Strong external focus. β€’ Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
