• GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy is seeking a Lead Engineer in Chemical Engineering. • Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nuclear energy. • Lead design, development, and implementation of chemical addition systems for BWRX-300 reactor. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry experts. • Troubleshoot complex systems and support the operational success of technology. • Support projects from laboratory testing to in-plant implementation. • Passion for problem-solving and hands-on design in clean energy.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. • Minimum of 7 years engineering experience. • Minimum of 5 years BWR Nuclear Plant experience. • Experience in Nuclear Industry. • Certificate of Authorization issued by Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO). • Experience with engineering design documents and drawings. • Hands on experience (design, construction, and/or mechanical maintenance) working with custom mechanical systems. • Experience with design and execution of small-scale testing and mock-ups of mechanical systems. • Familiarity with BWR plant systems and/or chemistry issues. • Programming skills/experience (PLC, Labview, general computer logic/communication). • Excellent troubleshooting skills. • Demonstrated high energy and the ability to energize others. • Demonstrated legacy of high integrity and positive representation. • Legacy of delivering on commitments; tenacious, with a proven track record of overcoming obstacles; ability to achieve stretch targets. • Strong external focus. • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
