• Lead Hot Gas Path Engineer responsible for technical ownership of HA, F, and other technologies. • Deliver high quality ER subcase resolution and design support for RCA investigations. • Own and deliver RCA and CAPA actions on time to committed dates. • Conceive innovative ideas to solve HGP design problems. • Leverage hand calcs, CAD, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models for analysis supporting RCAs and/or CAPA deliverables. • Conduct technical reviews for design tasks with Controlled Title Holders (CTHs). • Evaluate and mitigate component/system level risks. • Be a champion for Lean and continuous improvement. • Maintain strong relationships with Gas Turbine Engineering (GTE) teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college; or relevant experience that would be equal to a bachelor's degree. • Minimum of 4 years' experience needed. • Ability to handle US-export controlled information. • Desired Characteristics: Relevant experience designing, servicing, or testing gas turbine hardware. • Advanced engineering degree from an accredited university or college. • Proficient with ANSYS, NX, and other analytical tools. • Understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings & BOMs. • Strong organizational & communication skills. • Demonstrated capability in collaborating in a matrixed global organization. • Humble, open, and a continuous learner. • Able to collaborate across global teams. • Familiar with TOPS 8D or other Root Cause techniques. • Ability to rapidly change directions for multiple concurrent projects based on emergent business priorities.
