• The I&C hardware Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing I&C electronic hardware and software. • Responsible for high-quality engineering electronic hardware designs and testing strategies. • Develop creative solutions and reduce complexity to create accurate solutions for complex problems. • Typical hardware activities include creating a design from requirements and helping define requirements. • Design activities include schematic design, component selection, PCB layout, and PLD/FPGA design. • Engage customers to define scope, review results, and discuss technical risks. • Manage time effectively to provide quality deliverables within the expected project timeline. • Develop testware, test plans & procedures to implement requirements. • Perform Testing to support component failure analysis, including report generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical, computer or software engineering or Associate's Degree with at least 5 years of experience. • Minimum 5 years additional experience including creating and maintaining electronic circuit boards and/or FPGA design. • Knowledge and experience with PCB design, signal analysis, and system verification tools. • Experience with common HDL languages and PLD/FPGA development tools. • General knowledge of schematic design, PCB layout, and manufacturing. • Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
