• Independently perform in depth system studies • Specify scope, review, comment, direct/oversee 3rd party provider(s) • Provide technical responsibility in areas of expertise • Develop and industrialize solutions tools and processes • Enforce engineering discipline and processes across all work tasks • Support and mentor other engineers • Actively participate in defining corrective actions when work is unsafe

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • Minimum 10 years’ experience of network or transient studies for HVDC/FACTS/Renewable Energy/Inverter based Power Systems • Minimum 5 years working knowledge of NERC and FERC compliance requirements • Familiarity with NERC standards such as TPL, MOD, and PRC • Minimum 5 years familiarity with ISOs such as PJM, ERCOT, MISO, SPP, CAISO, ISO-NE, NYISO • Able and willing to travel 20% including international
