• Utilize cyber security and data expertise to protect GE Vernova's brand and assets. • Assist with day-to-day security operations and continuous monitoring activities. • Develop and maintain the continuous monitoring technical ecosystem and reporting enhancements. • Collaborate with the data team for metrics and requirements in cyber security assessment. • Provide regular metrics and reporting for efficiency and effectiveness of monitoring. • Develop policies, standards, processes, and procedures for risk assessment and remediation. • Collaborate to develop dashboards and alerting mechanisms for monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (IS), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Cybersecurity or STEM major from an accredited college or university. • 3+ years’ experience in Cyber Security. • Vernova segments/business experience is highly desired. • Continuous Monitoring cyber experience. • Data management and coding experience. • Industry recognized security certification(s), such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, etc. • Knowledge of systems implementations, SDLC, change control. • Knowledge of information security policies, procedures, and practices. • Strong oral and written communication skills, able to communicate appropriately to technical and management audiences. • Ability to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology teams and leadership. • Ability to seek innovative solutions to obstacles. • Ability to lead process improvement. • Knowledge of disaster recovery processes.
