Description

• GEICO is seeking an experienced Sr. Staff Software Engineer to lead AI product development. • Help drive our insurance business transformation by leveraging AI. • Build foundational voice, chat, text, email, and core contact center experiences. • Lead integration of AI models into scalable applications, optimizing usability and efficiency. • Mentor junior engineers in building AI-powered products and promote a collaborative culture.

Requirements

• 10 + years of professional software development experience with at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python or C# including object-oriented design. • 6 + years of experience in open-source frameworks. • 6 + years of experience building the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems. • 6 + years of experience in building AI/ML products, conversational interfaces particularly with LLMs or similar AI models. • In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms. • Strong problem-solving ability. • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication).
