Description

• Seeking a seasoned Software Engineer with extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale applications and distributed systems. • Play a pivotal role in re-architecting the billing platform from the ground up, focusing on enhancing scalability and efficiency. • Focus on areas in the billing domain and provide technical leadership; Develop technical software strategy; Drive interoperability across platforms; Help drive sound technical decision-making; Develop strategies to reduce technical debt and increase system reliability; Mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 10 + years of professional, hands-on software development experience, including leading technical projects across multiple teams or product areas • Extensive experience in architecting and designing large-scale, complex systems that have delivered significant business impact. • Proficient coding skills in Java, Kotlin, Golang, or similar languages, capable of producing high-performance, production-quality code. • Strong expertise in building and scaling data pipelines that can process hundreds of terabytes of data efficiently. • Experience with a wide range of technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, or their equivalents. • Proficient in using cloud computing tools throughout the software development lifecycle, with deep expertise in DevOps, observability, telemetry, and test automation. • Skilled in collaborating across engineering teams and other functions to build alignment, drive decision-making, and communicate transparently.
