Description

• GEICO is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering Operations to lead Field Engineering Operations team. • Responsible for overseeing vendor management, budget planning and reporting, operational reporting, vulnerability remediation, reporting and dashboarding. • Drive efficiency and innovation, ensuring GEICO's Field Operations teams are delivering an elevated experience for GEICO associates. • Lead and manage relationships with external vendors to ensure services are delivered according to SLAs. • Own the budgeting process, including forecasting, planning, and financial reporting. • Design and build operational dashboards to monitor KPIs and provide real-time insights. • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability remediation processes. • Oversee daily operational routines across all Field Engineering teams. • Champion automation and self-service tools to empower teams. • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or comparable experience. • At least 8 years of experience in Tech Operations, Engineering, or a related role, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial position. • At least 5 years' experience in vendor management, budget planning, operational reporting, and managing day-to-day Tech operations. • Background in vulnerability remediation and security practices. • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing or supporting projects to deliver self-service and automation solutions. • Solid understanding of dashboard and reporting tools, with the ability to visualize complex data into actionable insights.
