Description
• GEICO is seeking an experienced Engineer with a passion for high-performance database platforms. • You will lead the strategy and execution of a technical roadmap for database services. • Ideal candidates have expertise in the database platform domain, specifically Cassandra. • Collaborate with teams to solve tough problems and develop technical strategies. • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases is required. • Understanding of container orchestration and experience implementing database workloads in containers is essential.
Requirements
• 10 + years of professional experience in software development, programming languages and database infrastructure, installation, configuration and maintenance of the hardware, software, and network systems • 8 + years of experience with architecture and design • 6 + years of experience in open - source frameworks • 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
