• The Core Insurance Platform (CIP) organization is seeking an experienced Staff Engineer Manager • Help drive our insurance business transformation as we transition to a tech organization • Work closely and collaboratively with both technical and business teams • Deliver high-quality technology products and services in a hyper-growth environment • Own complete solution across its entire life cycle • Envision, design and deliver platform capabilities • Influence and build vision with product managers and team members to solve complex problems • Accountable for the quality, usability, and performance of the solutions • Mentor more junior team members professionally to help them realize their full potential

Requirements

• Fluency and Specialization with at least two modern languages such as Java, .NET, Go or Rust including object-oriented design • Experience in building products using microservices architecture and extensible GraphQL and gRPC APIs • Experience building the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems • Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code • Fluency in DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework • Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments • Experience in security protocols and products: Understanding of Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth • Experience with commercial cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) • In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms • Strong problem-solving ability • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication)
