Description

• The potential of technology applications to develop smarter cities and thriving communities. • Seeking team members who wish to thrive in an unrestricted, adaptable environment. • The role involves designing and overseeing traffic engineering projects for streets, highways, and freeways in municipal and state settings. • Success in performing traffic analysis, studies and preliminary engineering, transportation planning, and developing final design plans for traffic signals, ITS, lighting, signing, pavement marking, traffic handling, and construction sequencing.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. • A P.E. license is preferred in the position's jurisdiction, or a strong desire to obtain a P.E. • Successful experience in the local state and municipality environment in San Diego is required. • Proficiency and a strong passion for MicroStation and AutoCAD skills.
