Description

• Responsible for completing Finance and Accounting activities of Genworth’s India affiliate. • Provide guidance, advice, and support to the GNW India entity and team. • Complete financial processes and coordinate with outside vendors, auditors, and regulators. • Review transactions and ensure all tax activity is properly recorded. • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. • Ensure controls are executed and maintained. • Maintain GNW India policies and procedures. • Perform monthly analysis of income statement and balance sheet. • Review monthly and quarterly account reconciliations. • Support country manager and team members on financial activities. • Recommend and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years in financial processes. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience. • Expertise in Goods and Service Tax, Income Tax Act, Companies Law, and other relevant areas. • Fluent English-speaking skills. • Familiarity with India country and local tax requirements. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a growth company environment. • Advanced Excel skills. • Motivated team player.
