β€’ As a part of the military fellowship program, the Associate Application Development Analyst Fellow should be a strong developer that can utilize both their Pega understanding and their general development understanding to contribute to large-scale Pega development projects. β€’ On this team you will be responsible for building Pega applications that will be used by our Long-Term care providers as well as Operations associates who service our Long-Term care customers and their families. β€’ Serve as an Application Developer supporting Long-Term Care Claims technology Operations team by designing, developing, supporting scalable workflow applications used in LTC Claims Operations. β€’ Develop software utilizing PEGA Rules Process Commander (PRPC) for both Business Process Management and Business Process Rules Development initiatives. β€’ Performing ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement. β€’ Maintain peer relationship with cross functional technology, solutions and users of application. β€’ Collaborate with Business Analysts, Testers, and business users to effectively prioritize development activities within resource constrains. β€’ Evaluate and adapt to new technologies and toolsets as needed.

Requirements

β€’ BS in computer science or equivalent certifications and experience or Military Experience β€’ 3+ years of overall experience in application development β€’ Experience in cloud, containerization/Kubernetes, REACT and/or SQL is a plus β€’ Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or the ability get this certification within 3 months from the start of the fellowship β€’ Enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding β€’ 2+ years of overall experience designing and building robust, distributed enterprise applications β€’ 2+ years of Experience in Agile (Scrum) and/or Waterfall project methodologies β€’ 2+ years of Experience in programming languages specifically using either .NET or Java and relational database technologies like SQL Server or Oracle β€’ Solid understanding of Software Engineering principles β€’ Ability to work well, flexible with changing priorities, and proficiency with collaborating and communicating with multiple teams across various levels of the organization β€’ Must have the ability and experience in developing innovative approaches and solutions to solving design, architectural, and technical issues β€’ Intellectually curious with a continuous process improvement mentality β€’ Experience in collaborating with teams that are geographically dispersed at different locations and time zones β€’ Nice to have Experience with Pega Catalyst β€’ Pega Customer Service Framework
