Description

• Geotab is seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for growing new and existing client relationships for large international fleet customers. • The role requires prospecting and managing end-to-end sales processes while collaborating with internal teams for closure of client pursuits. • The manager will develop strategic business plans to drive sustainable growth and identify business opportunities.

Requirements

• 5-8 years experience in sales, business development or a similar role. • Proven track record in developing new sales and accounts. • Experience in the telematics industry. • Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements. • Able to anticipate and understand customer’s needs and provide viable solutions. • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training. • Highly persuasive communicator; able to articulate value propositions effectively, build rapport with potential clients, and influence decision-making. • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline, effectively moving prospects through the sales cycle to consistently achieve revenue goals. • Strong time management skills, an effective multi-tasker. • Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands. • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Customer Relationship Management (e.g. Salesforce) tools. • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
