•Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. •We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, electricians, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. •Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work. •As our first Senior Content Designer, you will lead the way in establishing and growing our Content Design practice. •This is a highly collaborative role, and you will partner with other senior product design leaders to help us succeed in two critical areas: identifying high-value touchpoints and working systematically through our design system.

Requirements

•Demonstrable experience leading the charge in transforming a product through content design. •Strong prior experience as a content designer or strategist in a product-driven environment, ideally working with/through design systems. •A design portfolio demonstrating strong content design skills, including microcopy, interface content, content strategy, information architecture, and how that contributed to better user experience and business outcomes. •Experience driving content quality at scale: crafting the foundational language, concepts, and models that equip product builders across teams to build more intentional and refined experiences. •Be experienced with design tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar for collaborative design and prototyping. •Understand the role of content in shaping the overall user experience and improving product usability. •Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams. •Have a passion for clarity, empathy, and user-centered design, with an ability to adapt content to meet diverse user needs.
