• Join Lavanda's Product team as a software developer • Contribute to a product-first UX design-led approach • Work with API only apps built in Ruby and modern frameworks • Participate in automated testing and TDD practices • Engage in pair programming and collaborative development
🎯 Requirements
• Previous significant experience as a developer in a professional setting • Strong supporter of highly collaborative Product minded development environments • Relative autonomous in writing well designed and tested code (strong preference for TDD) • Fluent in English • Deep familiarity with at least one core language (Javascript, Typescript, Ruby) • Bonus points for frameworks/libraries: Sinatra, Rails, Hanami, Angular, React, Next.JS • Frontend inclined developers should have experience with responsive design, strong CSS skills, mobile-first web development and/or experience building PWAs • Understand good automated testing practices and ideally be a TDD practitioner (experience with rspec/minispec, capybara, cucumber, jasmine, karma, mocha, chai, jest, enzymejs, cypress) • Highly collaborative attitude, willing to spend 80+% doing pair programming • Familiar with at least one Agile framework • Know Git inside out • Familiar with "Git Feature Branch Workflow" • Dev-ops culture and mindset; provide a solution for CD/CI yourself
