Substance is a leading talent firm offering flexible hiring solutions, including fractional, remote, and permanent roles across all levels, from entry to C-suite. We are seeking a highly skilled Fractional Accountant. This role is ideal for experienced accountants looking to work on impactful short-long term projects while maintaining flexibility in their schedule. You will be responsible for managing financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to help our clients make informed business decisions.
🎯 Requirements
Proven experience (5+ years) as an accountant, with a strong grasp of GAAP/IFRS. Excellent Excel skills and proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent. Strong command of English Experience in fractional, freelance, or project-based accounting roles is a plus. Ability to manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
